AR Merch Display

  • Role: UX/UI Designer
  • Timeline: 4 days
  • Scope: Audit, redesign, prototype, client pitch support
Interfaces shown have been modified to comply with NDA requirements.
What was needed:
An internal tool for merchandisers to visualize product placement in real-world spaces (bars, stores, etc.) via AR. The existing prototype was functional but clunky and misaligned with iOS patterns. The team needed a cleaner, more intuitive version — fast.
What I did:
  • Reviewed existing high-fidelity prototype
  • Identified UX friction and off-platform behaviors
  • Rebuilt navigation and flows using native iOS conventions
  • Proposed naming changes that clarified key interface concepts ("collections" → "custom lists")
  • Created wireframes, key screens, and a clickable prototype
  • Delivered a rationale deck and effort estimate for pitching
Result:
In 4 days, the tool was transformed into a lean, pitch-ready prototype that improved clarity, speed, and platform alignment. While not implemented, it became a reference for lightweight, high-clarity UX in tight timeframes.
