Branding for Digital Channels

Strengthening studio identity through adapting branding for digital channels
Context
IBM iX Moscow is part of a global network — but every studio deserves a voice of its own. A complete brand overhaul wasn’t necessary, but the existing identity needed to be extended for digital use. A bold, modern visual system could make both internal and external communication more engaging and recognizable.

A bold, modern visual system could make both internal and external communication more engaging and recognizable.

Approach
I developed a cohesive digital-first style built on existing brand elements. It focused on three key areas: Social media, Internal communication, and Events.
  • Social networks
Designed eye-catching templates for posts and stories to instantly convey the studio’s energy and originality.
Corporate news
Created email headers and visual assets for internal news, updates, and team introductions — designed to stand out in crowded inboxes.

Events

Developed vibrant visuals for invitations to talks, workshops, and meetups to encourage participation.
  • Guide
To ensure consistency across designers and formats, I created a concise style guide covering layout principles, colors, textures, and visual elements.
Spark
While designed primarily for digital channels, it also translated well to physical assets like posters, badges, and branded merchandise — strengthening team identity and engagement.
